How much does ESD PVC flooring cost? Supplied and installed from VND 300,000/m²
PRIMEAG supplies and installs ESD PVC flooring, 2 mm or 3 mm thick, dissipative or conductive, from VND 300,000/m² including materials and installation (ex 8% VAT), at about 300 m²/day. After installation the floor resistance is measured on site for acceptance; 24-month warranty on materials, 12 months on workmanship.

What the price includes
| Item | Scope |
|---|---|
| Floor tiles | Homogeneous PVC 600×600 mm, 2 mm or 3 mm thick |
| Top-surface resistance | Dissipative 10⁶–10⁹ Ω or conductive 10⁴–10⁶ Ω — chosen to suit the area’s requirements |
| Grounding materials | Conductive adhesive, copper tape grid, ground points connected to the factory grounding system |
| Installation | Subfloor survey, tile laying, joint treatment, protective coating; about 300 m²/day |
| Acceptance | Resistance-to-ground (RTG) and point-to-point (RTT) measured per ANSI/ESD STM7.1, RTG limit < 1×10⁹ Ω (ANSI/ESD S20.20) |
| Warranty | Materials 24 months; workmanship 12 months |
VND 300,000/m² is the starting price; subfloors needing repair (delaminated, damp, cracked) or 3 mm tiles are quoted separately. The tiles come in 12 colour codes and 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 mm thicknesses, with FV-0 fire rating and walking voltage ≤ 100 V; see the colour chart on the product page.
Dissipative or conductive?
| Type | Top-surface resistance | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Conductive (EC) | 10⁴–10⁶ Ω | SMT lines, PCB assembly, electronics cleanrooms, test areas — PRIMEAG’s default offer for electronics plants |
| Static dissipative (SD) | 10⁶–10⁹ Ω | Component stores, engineering offices, areas without direct handling of sensitive parts |
The 10⁴ Ω lower limit is an electrical-safety limit for people (an over-conductive floor raises shock risk if equipment leaks). Acceptance testing per ANSI/ESD S7.1: 100 V for readings from 10⁶ Ω, 10 V below 10⁶ Ω.
In areas with exposed live equipment, agree with the electrical safety department before choosing the conductive type. PRIMEAG advises based on the factory’s layout and audit requirements.
Do you take small areas?
Yes. PRIMEAG takes on QC rooms, labs, and line sections of a few dozen m². For small areas, extra costs (crew travel, opened adhesive kits) are clearly discussed in the quotation before work starts.
Why an acceptance test after installation is needed
Compliant tiles do not guarantee a compliant floor: non-conductive adhesive, missing copper tape or distant ground points can all push RTG above 10⁹ Ω. PRIMEAG measures at multiple locations after installation and records the readings by location in the handover report. Frequently asked questions
How much does ESD PVC flooring cost per m²?
From VND 300,000/m² including tiles and installation, ex 8% VAT. The exact price depends on thickness, dissipative or conductive type, subfloor condition and area; quotation within 30 minutes once floor plan dimensions are received.
How long does it take to install 1,000 m²?
About 300 m²/day, i.e. 3–4 days for 1,000 m² once the subfloor meets requirements. Work can be done out of hours or at weekends so production does not stop.
Should I choose dissipative or conductive flooring?
By default choose conductive (10⁴–10⁶ Ω) for SMT lines, PCB assembly, electronics cleanrooms and test areas: it meets every standard and is least likely to drift above 10⁹ Ω when acceptance testing falls on a very dry or humid day. Dissipative (10⁶–10⁹ Ω) suits component stores, engineering offices and areas without direct handling of sensitive parts. Both meet ANSI/ESD S20.20 (floor-to-ground < 10⁹ Ω). The 10⁴ Ω lower limit is an electrical-safety limit for people, not a misprint.
What is the warranty on ESD flooring?
24 months on materials and 12 months on workmanship, provided maintenance follows the instructions (no ordinary wax).
Should I choose 2 mm or 3 mm?
2 mm is enough for cleanrooms and assembly areas with foot traffic and light trolleys; 3 mm for aisles with frequent heavy trolleys and hand pallet trucks.
