Dissipative (D) 10⁶–10⁹ Ω, black carbon-loaded Danpla. Made to order from 200 pieces in 7–10 days; orders above 3,000 pieces are split into weekly lots.
Folded from black anti-static hollow PP sheet (Danpla) 4 mm thick, with plastic U-trim on the edges and ESD plastic corner pieces so stacked boxes do not slide. One end has a 105×70 mm label pocket for kanban or process cards. No handles (per the customer drawing); handles can be added. About 70 % lighter than a moulded PP bin and about 50 % cheaper (PRIMEAG estimate), and folds flat when empty — suited to storing small WIP on line racks, kitting stations and component stores. INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE EPA: under ANSI/ESD S541 an open Danpla box like ED-3516 meets the in-EPA requirement (low charging, conductive or dissipative). Outside the EPA (general warehouse, delivery trucks, suppliers) discharge shielding is required — use a closed lid plus a shielding bag.
INCOMING CHECK: measure surface resistance on the inside, outside, edge trim and corners (reference method ANSI/ESD STM11.11); check that the trim fully covers the cut edges, rivets are tight and boxes stack 4–5 high when full without the bottom box collapsing.

- How long does ESD Danpla last? — About 1–2 years depending on use (estimate from experience); the carbon is compounded into the PP so the ESD property is not lost — wear is mostly broken trim, and trim and corners can be replaced.
- Custom sizes? — Yes, from 200 pieces; send the internal size or a drawing and PRIMEAG redraws and quotes within 2 days.
- 3, 4 or 5 mm Danpla? — 3 mm for light trays; 4 mm balanced (recommended); 5 mm for boxes taller than 300 mm or loads above 5 kg.
