ESD Plastic Bin, Black Carbon-Filled PP

ESD Plastic Bin, Black Carbon-Filled PP

Code: EB-6142 · ESD turnover box 610×420×390, carbon-filled black PP. Also called “ESD tote box” or “conductive container”. Made to order: 400 bins in 10–14 days, small quantities 3–7 working days; for orders from 100 bins the price includes delivery to factories in Ho Chi Minh City – Binh Duong – Dong Nai.

The bin is moulded from PP with carbon compounded through the whole material, so its conductivity is not lost after IPA wiping or knocks — unlike coated anti-static bins that last only a few months. Thick walls with stiffening ribs, stacks 5 high when full and nests when empty (tapered-wall version). Used to move PCBs, sub-assemblies and components between the warehouse, SMT and assembly.

ESD class: sold as “conductive” (10⁴–10⁶ Ω); under ANSI/ESD S541 this range sits at the low end of the dissipative class, right at the conductive boundary. Suitable for moving and storing PCBs and components inside the EPA; for very sensitive parts placed directly, choose the dissipative tray (EJ-KN).

Choose by position in the EPA

  • Moving and storing PCBs and sub-assemblies → conductive bin (this one).
  • Loose, very sensitive parts (ICs, MOSFETs) → dissipative 10⁶–10⁹ Ω tray (EJ-KN) inside the bin.
  • Leaving the EPA by truck → add a shielding bag (ES-3535) for each board.
  • Light and flat-folding when empty → ESD Danpla box (ED-3516), about 50 % cheaper, lower load.

CUSTOM PRINTING: logo, company name, area codes or department marks printed on the bin wall (for example “WH” for warehouse bins, “SMT” or “QC” per process). Printed bins are easier to tell apart, count and keep from going missing between warehouse, production and subcontractors. The print covers only a small part of the wall; the rest still dissipates charge normally. Send the logo file (AI, PDF or sharp PNG), text, colour, position and number of sides; printing fee and minimum quantity are quoted per order.

SIZE NOTE: 610 × 420 mm is a common Asian size, equivalent to the “B8” size of ordinary plastic bins. It is not the European VDA 4500 Euro container (600 × 400 mm). If your racks, trolleys or conveyors are built on a 600 × 400 module, check the size before ordering.

TESTING: resistance measured at 3 points per bin on a 5 % sample, report supplied; we recommend re-measuring every 6 months with a surface resistance meter (ET-SR).

FAQ

  • Carbon-filled vs coated bins? — Carbon-filled: conductive through the whole material, not lost with IPA wiping; coated: a thin outer layer that wears off after a few months. To tell them apart, scrape the edge and measure.
  • Is 10⁴–10⁶ Ω too conductive for components? — For transport bins it is correct (fast discharge); components placed directly should sit in a dissipative tray or bag inside.
  • Can you print our logo on the bins? — Yes. Logo, company name or area marks from your file; printing fee quoted by quantity.
  • Other sizes? — Yes, standard 400×300 and 600×400 with heights 120–390, or a custom mould from 1,000 bins.
  • Is delivery included? — For orders from 100 bins within Ho Chi Minh City – Binh Duong – Dong Nai.
