Handheld non-contact static meter for ESD checks in Vietnam factories: it measures electrostatic voltage at a defined spot on PCBs, films, trays and people. Range 0 to ±22 kV; the 25 mm measuring distance is set with 2 LED pointer beams. The LCD shows a digital value with a colour bar: red for positive voltage, blue for negative.
An ion balance plate (0 to ±220 V) is included for checking the residual voltage of ionizing blowers and bars, plus a ground cord. 4 functions: On/Off, Zero, Ion balance, Hold.

When to choose the handheld electrostatic voltmeter
- You need to find charged objects inside the EPA (plastic bags, plastic trays, adhesive tape, films) and quickly check whether an ionizer is out of balance → TE1003.
- You need a quantitative 1,000 → 100 V discharge time measurement of ionizers with a charged plate → charged plate kit for ionizer testing.
- You need a field meter with automatic V/m – V switching by distance and PC connection → electrostatic field meter with LCD (TE1022/1023).
- For accurate readings, the meter must be properly grounded with the included ground cord.

Can static voltage be measured without touching the object?
Yes. The TE1003 measures without contact at a distance of 25 mm; the 2 LED pointer units help keep the correct distance.
Can the TE1003 be used to check ionizers?
Yes, for balance checks: the meter comes with an ion balance plate and measures residual voltage from 0 to ±220 V. Measuring discharge time by the charged plate method requires a separate charged plate kit.
How long does the TE1003 battery last?
The 9 V manganese battery lasts about 30 hours; the LCD shows the battery level.
