Body static tester and discharger for EPA entrances in Vietnam factories: it quickly checks the electrostatic voltage on a person and between people, and discharges the charge to ground at the same time. Touch it with your hand and the voltage (0–19,990 V, positive and negative polarity) appears on the LCD. Mount it on the wall at the EPA entrance or use it handheld.
It can be used to check static generated by wrist straps, heel straps, shoes, chairs, bench mats, floor mats, garments and ESD trays. The 9 V alkaline battery lasts about 6 months.

When to choose the personnel static voltage tester
- You need a point where workers touch to discharge static and see their own body voltage before entering the EPA → TE1018.
- You need to measure voltage on objects (PCBs, films, trays) without contact, or check ionizer balance → TE1003 handheld electrostatic voltmeter.
- You need to evaluate the person – footwear – floor system with a walking test → walking body voltage test kit.
- The TE1018 does not replace a wrist strap tester: wrist straps must still be tested every day while worn, with results logged.

Can it replace a wrist strap and footwear tester?
No. The TE1018 shows the voltage on a person and discharges the charge; wrist straps and footwear must still be resistance-tested with a dedicated tester and logged.
