How is the price of heavy-duty racking calculated?
Racks are sold per bay. One row = 1 starter bay + n add-on bays (a 10-bay row = 1 starter + 9 add-ons). Price varies with height, number of levels, load, decking and quantity; the table above lists 6 configurations already produced so you can estimate quickly. Example, a 10-bay row of 4-level heavy-duty racking with plywood decks: 1 × VND 5,720,000 + 9 × VND 5,010,000 = VND 50,810,000 excl. VAT, installation included.
For PRIMEAG to draw the layout and count the bays, send 5 things via Zalo or email: (1) warehouse plan – dimensions, column positions, doors; (2) clear height under the ceiling; (3) pallet size and weight; (4) forklift type and maximum lift height; (5) desired aisle width.
Mandatory safety where forklifts operate
- Upright protectors on every end-of-row upright and uprights next to forklift aisles; guard rails at main aisles.
- Anchor bolts in every base plate into the concrete floor; the floor must be level and load-bearing.
- Pallet back-stops where racks stand against walls or pedestrian aisles.
- Never let pallets overhang the beams; never exceed the load on the notice.
- Inspect bent or dented uprights after any impact; replace immediately, never prop them up.

- How many kg can heavy-duty warehouse racking carry? — PRIMEAG selective pallet racks carry 1,000 kg/level with 60×90×1.5 mm omega uprights and 50×100 mm beams; 1,200 kg/level with 60×90×1.7 mm uprights and 50×120 mm beams. Each level holds 2 pallets of 1,000×1,200 mm. Loads are calculated for the actual goods of each warehouse.
- How much does heavy-duty racking cost? — From VND 4,240,000 per starter bay and VND 3,170,000 per add-on bay (2-level, 4.5 m high pallet rack); 4-level racks with plywood decks from VND 5,010,000 per add-on bay. Prices include delivery and installation, excl. 8 % VAT.
- How much does medium-duty shelving cost? — From VND 2,800,000 per bay (4 levels, 2,000×1,550×600 mm, 300 kg/level); 9-level, 2.6 m high shelving from VND 5,400,000 per bay. Excl. 8 % VAT, installation included.
- How long does pallet racking take? — Small orders 2–3 weeks after drawing approval; projects over 100 bays about 25 working days production and 3–4 days installation at warehouses in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Long An.
- Is delivery and installation charged? — Not for orders from VND 20 million in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Long An. Smaller orders or more distant provinces are quoted with a separate fee.
- Medium-duty vs heavy-duty – what is the difference? — Medium-duty shelving has 60×50 mm uprights and 30×80 mm beams, carries 200–300 kg/level and is hand-picked, for cartons and component reels; heavy-duty racking has 60×90 mm omega uprights and 50×100–120 mm beams, carries 1,000–1,200 kg/level and is served by forklift.
