ESD plastic bin 610×420×250 mm for electronics factories in Vietnam: at 250 mm high, it is the first size of the deep-box group (>200 mm) in the 610×420 range. Use it to collect bagged components and move sub-assemblies between the warehouse and the line when the load exceeds the capacity of the 190 mm box.

The 10³–10⁹ Ω range falls within the conductive–dissipative region as classified by ANSI/ESD S541 (conductive < 10⁴ Ω, dissipative 10⁴ to < 10¹¹ Ω); both groups can be used in an EPA. Place the box on a grounded bench or rack to drain charge; when taking goods out of the EPA, put boards in shielding bags or use a box with a closed lid.
Footprint note: 610×420 is not the 600×400 Euro container module (VDA 4500); if your racks, trolleys or conveyors are designed for 600×400, measure again before ordering.
When to choose the 610×420×250 box (PSB017)

Frequently asked questions
Is 610×420×250 the inside or outside size of the ESD box?
It is the outer (overall) size, tolerance ±3 %. The inside is smaller; if your goods must fit snugly, measure the inside of a sample before ordering in quantity.
Can I order an ESD lid for the PSB017 box?
Yes. The ESD lid 605×420×28 mm is shared across the PSB003, PSB017, PSB019 range, so 610×420 boxes of different heights use the same lid.
Will cleaning remove the antistatic property of the box?
No. The carbon is distributed through the whole plastic, not a surface coating, so wiping with IPA or ethanol does not remove the antistatic property. Avoid cleaners containing silicone or wax; PP becomes more brittle below 0 °C, so avoid dropping boxes used in cold storage.
