Charged plate kit for ionizer testing (TE1022CPS / TE1023CPS)

Charged plate monitor (CPM) kit for testing ionizers in Vietnam factories: it measures the discharge (decay) time and ion balance (offset voltage) of ionizing blowers, ionizing bars and ionizing air guns. The kit consists of a TE1022 or TE1023 field meter (CPS mode) + a 75 × 150 mm charged plate (20 pF) + an HV-CONVERTER high-voltage charger, supplied in a carrying case.
Both ion balance and discharge time must be measured with the charged plate method (CPM). With its own kit, a factory can check each ionizer periodically at the exact distance where the product sits in front of the ionizer, and record the results in a log.

When to choose the charged plate kit for ionizer testing
- The factory has many ionizing blowers and bars that need periodic checks (recommended every 6 months, and after every cleaning or emitter-needle replacement) → buy the CPS kit and test in-house.
- Only a quick ion balance check is needed, without discharge time → the TE1003 handheld electrostatic voltmeter with its ion balance plate.
- Already own a TE1022/TE1023 meter → ask PRIMEAG for the charged plate and high-voltage charger only.
- Choose TE1023CPS if you want to save measurement data to a PC via USB.

Frequently asked questions
How often should ionizers be tested, and why?
Dirty or worn emitter needles reduce ion output and shift the balance; an ionizer that is offset positive or negative will charge the product instead of neutralizing it. Measuring balance and discharge time with a charged plate is how this is detected.
At what distance should an ionizer be tested?
At the exact distance where the product actually sits in front of the ionizer; the factory sets its own acceptance values for each location in its ESD control plan.
TE1022CPS or TE1023CPS – which one should I buy?
The difference is the meter included: the TE1023 can connect to a PC via USB, the TE1022 cannot.
