Need an overhead ionizer for a conveyor or machine frame in your Vietnam factory? The 712 is a 2-fan DC bar ionizer that cleans its emitter needles automatically at power-on and once every 24 hours. Powder-coated aluminium body 640 × 175 × 118 mm, supplied with an L-bracket for hanging above a conveyor or mounting on a machine frame.
Neutralizing area 600 × 300 × 750 mm, tungsten alloy emitters, direct AC 220 V or 110 V supply, power < 15 W.

When to choose the 2-fan self-cleaning ionizer
- A single small workstation → 1-fan self-cleaning ionizer (711).
- Wider conveyors or benches → 713 (3 fans, 800 mm area) or 714 (4 fans, 1,060 mm area).
- Compared with the 2-fan ionizing bar 702: the 712 self-cleans its emitters and has an L-bracket; the 702 has balance ≤ ±5 V (measured at 300 mm) and versions with alarm and network connection. The two series are measured at different distances (450 mm and 300 mm), so the figures cannot be compared directly.
Testing and maintenance
- Measure ion balance and discharge time with a charged plate monitor (CPM) at the actual distance of the product in front of the ionizer; check periodically (every 6 months recommended) and re-measure after every cleaning or emitter replacement.
- Emitters self-clean at power-on and every 24 hours; still clean the front and rear grilles periodically to maintain airflow.
- An ionizer does not replace wrist straps, mats or ESD flooring: grounding remains the primary measure for conductors and people; ionization is for insulators that cannot be removed (plastic housings, glass, films, trays).

How is the 712 ionizer bar mounted?
It comes with 1 powder-coated aluminium L-bracket set and 1 pair of M6×12 thumb-screw knobs; it is usually hung above the conveyor or bench, blowing down onto the product area.
Is ±15 V balance worse than the ±5 V of the 702?
The two figures are measured at different distances: the 712 at 450 mm from the centre of the air outlet, the 702 at 300 mm. Your plant should measure at the actual product position with a charged plate monitor and compare against the acceptance value in your ESD control plan.
Do the emitters still need manual cleaning?
The emitters self-clean at power-on and every 24 hours; still clean the front and rear grilles periodically.
