ESD walking test kit for body voltage, supplied in Vietnam: the WTS kit combines with the TE1023 meter to form a walking body-voltage tester. It uses the very-high-impedance MK023 voltage probe to measure the electrostatic voltage of isolated conductors up to 4 kV.
Used to evaluate the whole person – footwear – flooring system: when people are grounded through ESD footwear and flooring, both person – footwear – floor resistance < 1×10⁹ Ω and walking body voltage < 100 V (ANSI/ESD STM97.1 and STM97.2) must be met.

When to choose the walking test kit
- Acceptance of new ESD flooring, evaluating ESD shoe or sandal types on the actual floor → WTS kit: measures body voltage while walking, compared against the < 100 V limit.
- Only need operators to touch-discharge and check their body voltage at the EPA entrance → TE1018 human body static tester.
- Already have a TE1023 meter → you only need to add the WTS kit.
- Person – footwear – floor resistance is measured with a resistance meter and electrodes; see the digital resistance meter.

Do I need to buy a separate TE1023 meter for the walking test?
The WTS kit combines with the TE1023 meter; buy the complete TE1023WTS set, or add the kit if you already have a TE1023.
