When to choose the digital surface resistance meter with temperature & humidity
- You need actual readings for logbooks, acceptance reports and internal audits, together with temperature and humidity conditions → TR1800.
- You only need a quick pass/fail check with a small pocket meter → TR1380 resistance meter with LED readout.
- You need ±3 % accuracy and a range up to 100 GΩ at 2 test voltages → TR1801 analog (needle) resistance meter.
- The LCD shows temperature and humidity at the same time as the reading: record both in the log to compare repeated measurements at the same location.

Frequently asked questions
How do I test an ESD worktop to S4.1 with the TR1800?
Place the 5 lb electrode in the middle of the worktop, measure to ground at 10 V and wait for the reading to stabilize; if it is 1×10⁶ Ω or higher, switch to 100 V and measure again. The S20.20 limit for work surfaces is < 1×10⁹ Ω.
