Need an ionizing bar blower for a long ESD workbench in Vietnam? The 702 is a two-fan DC ionizer bar with a 555 mm aluminium body, weighing 3.0 kg. It covers a long bench or 2 adjacent positions on a production line, repair stations, test stations and air shower booths.
Ion balance ≤ ±5 V (tighter than the single-fan version), working distance up to 1,400 mm. Available in 3 versions: 702, 702+ (alarm), 702+NET (alarm + network connection).

When to choose the two-fan ionizing bar blower
- One operator, one short bench → the single-fan benchtop ionizer (701) is enough.
- Longer bench, bar of close to 1 m needed → three-fan ionizing bar (703): 250 CFM, 955 mm long.
- Mounted above a conveyor, no manual needle cleaning wanted → self-cleaning two-fan ionizer (712).
Verification and maintenance
- Measure ion balance and discharge time with a charged plate monitor (CPM) at the actual distance where the product sits in front of the blower; check periodically (6 months recommended) and re-measure after every cleaning or emitter needle replacement.
- Emitter needles are consumables: clean them weekly with an IPA-moistened cotton swab with the power off, never touch the needles with bare hands; clean the intake grille to maintain airflow.
- An ionizer does not replace wrist straps, mats or flooring: grounding remains the primary measure for conductors and people; ionization is for insulators that cannot be removed (plastic housings, glass, films, trays).

What distance does a two-fan ionizer bar cover on an ESD bench?
The catalogue working distance is 300–1,400 mm; the discharge time of ≤ 2.0 s is measured at 300 mm. Positions further away need to be verified with a charged plate monitor.
702, 702+ or 702+NET – when do I need the NET version?
When the factory needs to send the ionizer’s alarm signal to a monitoring system over the network; the 702+ only alarms locally on the unit, and the 702 has no alarm.
Can an ionizer replace ESD wrist straps?
No. An ionizer only neutralizes insulators (plastic housings, films, glass, trays); operators must still be grounded with a wrist strap.
