Lean Pipe Racks in Binh Duong & Dong Nai: Made to Drawing, Layout to Load Test

Need lean pipe racks for a factory in Binh Duong or Dong Nai? Order them made to drawing rather than picking a fixed size: the Φ28 pipe frame is assembled with bolted joints, no welding, so it can be modified when the line changes model. PRIMEAG follows 6 steps from site measurement to load testing; racks to a new drawing take 10–15 working days including the approval step.

Summary
  • Send the floor plan, bin sizes and load per tier; receive a layout, 2D/3D drawings and BOM to sign off before any pipe is cut.
  • Φ28 pipe with a 0.8–1.0 mm steel wall; when a tier carries over 100 kg, add a mid post and cross bracing to shorten the span rather than thicker pipe.
  • Handover includes a load test of each tier, a report and a joint list so maintenance can extend the system themselves.

Lean pipe racks in Binh Duong: why build to drawing

Assembly lines in the industrial parks of Binh Duong and Dong Nai change models quite often. Fixed welded racks then become surplus, whereas a Φ28 pipe frame only needs a hex key to add a tier, lower the height or fit casters.

A drawing makes the rack fit the bin sizes, aisles and reach right from the first assembly.

6-step process from survey to acceptance

  1. Survey: measure the floor area, columns, aisles; weigh full bins.
  2. Layout: place racks, benches and trolleys along the material flow; mark the loading side and picking side.
  3. 2D/3D drawings, BOM: the BOM lists the cut length of each pipe, the number of joints by code, bolts and adjustable feet.
  4. Approval: the factory signs the drawing; any later change must update the BOM.
  5. Production, assembly: cut pipe, deburr, assemble loosely, square up, then tighten. Within Ho Chi Minh City – Binh Duong – Dong Nai, delivered pre-assembled.
  6. Acceptance: test-load each tier, check caster locks, measure resistance if it is an ESD structure, sign the report.

The workshop builds about 1,500 benches, trolleys and racks per month. Pipe and joints are sold separately in the lean pipe and aluminium profile components group.

Choosing load, number of tiers and casters

QuestionSuggestionReason
How much does each tier carry?Up to 100 kg: standard frame; heavier: add a mid post and cross bracingThin pipe under heavy load makes the frame sag and joints slip
Load concentrated in one spot?Add a mid-span support bar; place heavy bins near the uprightsA concentrated load bends the board more than an evenly spread load
How many tiers?Standard trolley 3 tiers, 2–5 available; heavy goods at the bottomLowers the centre of gravity
What caster size?Divide trolley plus goods by 3; Φ75 for light loads, Φ100 when close to 400 kgOn uneven floors usually only 3 casters carry the trolley

Reference: the multi-tier plastic-coated steel pipe trolley, 1500×600×1600 mm version, carries 100 kg per tier, 400 kg total.

Feeder racks and matching benches

Slope and empty-return lanes for FIFO racks are covered in FIFO flow racks for feeding components to assembly lines; the plastic-coated steel pipe gravity flow rack model has 3–5 feed tiers plus 1 empty-return tier.

Benches next to the racks should use the same pipe system. The Φ28 plastic-coated steel pipe workbench has a 750 mm high top rated 150 kg; for choosing a configuration, see choosing workbenches for electronics lines.

Completed projects

Not in Binh Duong or Dong Nai, but with the same process:

  • US FDI factory, Can Giuoc, 2025–2026: 400 custom trolleys.
  • Chinese-invested logistics and distribution centre, Phu Tho, 07/2026: 30 trolleys, 32 benches 1200×750, 6 benches 1500×1000, 5 stainless steel tables 1200×2400.

Where to start

  1. Photograph the area to be laid out, noting aisles and column positions.
  2. List bin sizes, weights, number of tiers, caster or ESD requirements.
  3. Send them via the drawing-submission section below; quote within 30 minutes, followed by a drawing for approval.

Frame warranty 3 years; casters and ESD surfaces 12 months. Export processing enterprises can receive 0% VAT invoices; for orders from VND 20 million, PRIMEAG handles the on-the-spot import/export customs declaration free of charge.

Frequently asked questions

What is the lead time for custom lean pipe racks in Vietnam? Standard models 5–7 working days; new designs 10–15 working days including drawing approval; orders of more than 20 benches 2–3 weeks.

How many kg can each tier of a Φ28 lean pipe rack or trolley carry? About 100–150 kg per tier with an evenly spread load; above 100 kg, add a mid post and cross bracing to shorten the span.

Can our factory modify or extend the racks ourselves after handover? Yes. The handover set includes the drawing and joint list; pipe and joints are sold separately and assembled with a hex key.
