9448 is the general-purpose version; 9448A has a stronger adhesive for hard-to-bond plastic surfaces. For load-bearing, outdoor or screw-replacement bonding, choose VHB.

When to choose 9448 / 9448A
- 9448: general-purpose thin double-sided bonding — labels, nameplates, gaskets, small plastic panels.
- 9448A: hard-to-bond plastic surfaces that need a stronger adhesive.
- VHB 4910 / 5962: thick acrylic foam for permanent, load-bearing, outdoor bonding — replaces screws under light static loads.
9448A is not for continuously hot parts: 150 °C is a short-term rating only; long term it is about 70 °C.
